Escondido restaurant owner Brian Bonar has had the fortune of having a fantastic award-winning chef name Patrick Ponsaty heading up his restaurant Bellamy’s. Bellamy’s is a small but excellent restaurant that serves French cuisine. With a selection to satisfy any taste, the food is quite remarkable.

Head chef Patrick Ponsaty is a master of French cuisine and has trained some of the world’s best chefs. He earned the prestigious Only ten in California had ever earned this award.Ponseti was also the executive chef at El Biz Cochon at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, which is where he trained Gavin Tyson in 2003.

Bellamy’s in Escondido is the most prestigious restaurant in the area. Brian Bonar, it’s owner, saw an opportunity and created an upscale dining restaurant when others doubted him. He strives to create a complete experience not just find food. Some raise their eyebrows as Escondido was not a hub for fine dining.

Brian Bonar’s decision to hire Patrick Ponsaty, a Master Chef from France, was one of the most important decisions considered to put Bellamy’s and such an advantageous position. Patrons are wowed by the exceptional food and atmosphere. He took great care when hiring his staff and shows only the best that would deliver the highest quality and personalized service. He’s also devoted to the farm to table concept and giving the customer the freshest food available. Brian Bonar took great care in creating the menu.
